Principal Electric Company presents a new product line: packaged cam switches, manufactured by Opas (Turkey). Opas began operations in Istanbul in 1982. For 40 years, the company has been providing innovative solutions for the cam switch market and successfully exporting its products to 20 different countries.

The cam switches are designed for:

• the control of mechanisms driven by three-phase and single-phase motors by changing the connection of the AC motor windings (star-delta) or the direction of rotation;
• Control and signaling in control circuits;
• Switching the operating modes of heating appliances;
• Switching the drive of section disconnect switches in substations on and off.

Our new series of rotary switches offers a wide range of connection combinations for different numbers of poles and various rated currents.

You can choose a switch according to its intended use and the technical characteristics of the circuit.
For example, to switch the load on and off in the line, choose the scheme “0-1” ; for switching to a parallel line (changing the load or substitute source) – “1-2” or “1-0-2” .
The scheme “0-1-2-3” is required to switch between different operating modes of the device (normal speed, heating temperature).
You can also select a special switch for a voltmeter, an ammeter, or a "star/delta" switch.
