TENSE has expanded its product line of controllers for reactive power compensation systems.
The RGT-12E 12-stage reactive power controller , manufactured by TENSE (Turkey), is a new development from the company that meets all current requirements of modern reactive power compensation systems. These systems are used in various sectors of industry and civil engineering – in factories, workshops, agricultural operations, hotels, gas stations, shopping centers, schools, hospitals, and banks.
The new reactive power controller (controller for reactive power compensation) has the following features:
- 12 relay outputs
- Option to use with three or one current transformer
- 2.9-inch LCD display + 17 LED indicators: enable easy setup and complete control over the operation of the compensation system.
- Separate relay output, programmable for various emergency situations: overvoltage, harmonics, cos φ
- Password protection for the settings to prevent unauthorized changes to the operating parameters of the capacitor unit.
- Display of activated levels
- Automatic and/or manual switching of the capacitor stage values
- Automatic control of the uniform operating time of the individual phases
- User settings for various time parameters: response time to network changes, discharge time, time between restarting a stage, time between switching on multiple stages
- Compensation for both inductive and capacitive reactive power components
- Integrated meters for active and reactive energy (import/export/inductive/capacitive)
- Display of up to 31 harmonics for current and voltage
- Measurement of the total harmonic distortion (THD) of current and/or voltage
- Integrated reactive power analyzer with recording protocol for the step-by-step switching of capacitors (20 recordings of 9999 minutes each)
