The separate rubber socket can be used as a standalone wall outlet or on any other surface. It features four mounting holes for this purpose. It can also be temporarily hung from a special eyelet on the top of the housing; the socket can also be used to extend a cable. Maximum cable cross-section: 3 x 2.5mm2.

The socket is made of durable plastic (TPE - Thermoplastic Polyester Elastomer), which makes it weather-resistant, and has a special design with a cover that offers IP44 protection.
