Product description

The FKV-14P three-phase phase protection relay is designed to protect three-phase electric motors and equipment against critical faults in the power supply network. It offers comprehensive monitoring of phase presence, phase failure, phase jamming, asymmetry (fixed 40%), phase shift, and excessive motor winding temperature. It is equipped with a neutral conductor and designed for DIN rail mounting.

Operating principle

• Normal operation: When all three mains voltages are present, the phase sequence is correct and the winding temperature does not exceed the limits, the relay switches on (contacts 15-18 are closed) and the LED OUT lights up.

• Voltage error or asymmetry: If the voltage of any phase deviates by more than 40%, contacts 15-18 open and contacts 15-16 close; the LED OUT is off.

• Phase sequence error: The relay reacts by opening the contacts and switching off the OUT LED.

• Exceeding the winding temperature: The relay switches off the output until the temperature is back within the permissible limits.

• Restore operation: The relay automatically returns to operating mode after the parameters have been normalized.
