Heating elements are used to maintain temperature and reduce humidity in control panels, automation cabinets, ATMs, payment terminals, and other electronic devices. In the past, incandescent lamps were used for these purposes - however, it is clear that this method does not ensure compliance with modern stringent requirements for electrical devices and electronics. Due to the high demands placed on cabinet heaters, Plastim has exercised the utmost care in selecting component suppliers. For example, the supplier of the PTC heaters is the same as Schneider Electric, and the terminal block for the electrical connection of all components is custom-made by the Italian company KORNER. The plastic from which this block is made has a very important property: it not only retains its shape and does not deform when heated, but also does not emit odors, thus not releasing harmful carcinogenic substances into the atmosphere. We agree that this approach in supplier selection positively distinguishes high-quality Plastim heating devices from cheap Chinese counterparts.
